A dive into Zoe Nash: our country-loving, autumn-obsessed influencer marketing expert

28/08/2024

Zoe Nash, digital creator with over 12k followers on Instagram, sits down with us to tell us a bit more about herself, the gal who loves all things countryside and cottage-core.

Our social media exec is more than just a nature lover, she also admits to being able to eat chips for the rest of her life (if she had to pick one food).

So, she’s got good taste, and by looking at her you would know that she could easily impersonate Anna from Frozen, but what else will you find out about our Zoe?

‘My first job was a swimming instructor.’

So if you need to refresh your swimming skills, or are planning to dip your toes in some deep water, you know who to call.

‘I had done different types of swimming such as synchronised swimming, survival swimming etc. So, I just worked my way up.’

Now we know why Zoe’s favourite movie is Finding Nemo, but let’s keep swimming and talk about dream jobs outside of work.

‘I’d love to work with animals abroad, so maybe an animal sanctuary or something!’

Zoe’s love of animals is more than just a mild appreciation for them. She is proudly vegan and so we know who to go to for our cruelty-free treats.
And now let’s move from pets to pet peeves.

‘When someone doesn’t explain a brief properly.’
Couldn’t agree more. Communication communication communication. Why can’t people just be clear with what they want?

But let’s move to something non-work related like meeting someone famous.

‘Only like social media famous – someone called GlamByFlo. She’s a makeup influencer, I met her at a BarryM influencer event. It was at Christmas, BarryM had a really nice Christmas event up in London, lots of drinks, food and goodies. It was so cool.’

We all love good food and a bag filled with free treats, we’re pretty jelly that we weren’t on the invite list. But what about if you had to invite three people, dead or alive, to your dinner party? Would you invite the same people as Zoe to your dinner party?

‘David Attenborough because he’s all about animals, he’s so cute. Lana Del Rey because I’m a massive fangirl and probably Robert Irwin because he love animals as well. Lana can be on the microphone and David and Robert can educate me on animals.’

Robert, the son of Steve Irwin (still not over his death), and Bindi the Jungle Girl, ahhhhh she is a mom now, oh how they grow up. Zoe, can WE be invited to that dinner party too?

But what else can we tell you about Zoe? She loves to shop, specifically on Vinted as she aims to be as sustainable as possible. We know how hard it is to stop shopping once you’ve started, but if you are going to shop a lot, we recommend giving Vinted a go, as who doesn’t love saving money?

And it’s not just shopping that Zoe loves but the autumn season, her favourite scents being pumpkin spice and cinnamon.
‘It’s just such a cosy smell, it reminds me of Halloween. I love Halloween. It’s only six months away now… not too long!!’

And while autumn might be the season that represents Zoe, she is more than that. Someone who is driven and always on her next project. But let’s hear about what made her want to work in Social Media and why.

Working in marketing- the why’s and the day-to-days

‘It was in lockdown really, my Instagram started getting a lot more traction and I started to realise how much you can actually do with Social Media. It allows for so much creativity and its always changing. There’s always new things to learn. It keeps you on your toes a bit because you always have to keep up to date with everything.’
And social media allows for great opportunities if you have passion, drive and talent.

‘I loved working with Isle of Paradise, Charlotte Tilbury, Makeup Revolution, BarryM and Rimmel!’

And now let’s hear from Zoe about what it’s like to work at Revive.

‘I get in at about half 8, check my emails, Catch up on all the comments and DM’s we get on RoRox and Outback, plan all the influencer strategies, do any outstanding tasks that I need to do that day, and catch up with Imogen.’

Zoe describes herself as a person of routine, but she has her own motivations.
‘Probably seeing how happy the clients get from the results. RoRox always likes to message us to say a big thank you and things like that. I think that’s really powerful to know that you’re making a difference to their social media presence.’

And if you’re here still wondering who Zoe is, know that it is not her work or the opportunities she has been given that she wants to be remembered for but who she is.
‘My kindness, that’s probably the main thing.’

That’s our Zoe Nash, someone humble, sweet and always great to meet. Zoe flourished within Revive Digital and is now making waves as a Digital Marketing Executive. Zoe continues to create natural lifestyle, home, beauty and travel content on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube as @itszoenash and keeps up with the conversation on LinkedIn.
